| The Chiller Ice Rinks invite you, your teammates and families to spend Labor Day weekend playing in the first-annual tournament presented by the Columbus Blue Jackets. We aim for a quality hockey and social event to end the summer and kick-off the hockey season! | |

3 NON-CHECK DIVISIONS
The Chiller reserves the right to place any team in the proper division. |
 |
Advanced - Team is comprised primarily of Advanced level players 18 years and older. These players may have played at the following levels: Former Pro, Varsity College, Junior A, B and C, Non-Varsity College (ACHA), Midget AAA or AA, Prep School or Varsity High School. |
|
Intermediate – Team is comprised primarily of experienced recreational level players, with the remainder of the team having Varsity or JV High School players 18 years and older. |
|
Novice – Team is comprised of beginner level players 18 years and older. This player began playing the game as an adult, and has 1-5 years of playing experience. Teams may also be Co-Ed. | | |

|
A minimum of four teams is required to run a division. The maximum number of teams will depend on the amount of teams entered in the overall event. |
|
Each game will consist of three 12 minute stop time periods with a three minute warm-up that will start when the Zamboni doors close. There will be an ice make before each game. |
|
Three preliminary round robin games will be played by each team within their division (one game Friday, two games Saturday) that will determine which teams will advance from each division to the playoff round. Standings and tie-breaker information will be provided to each team captain and will be posted throughout the weekend. |
|
All playoff round games (Championship, Semi-Final and Consolation*) will be played on Sunday. Semi-Final and consolation games will be played ONLY when there is sufficient ice time available, and ONLY in divisions of eight teams or more. |

3-game guarantee, Round Robin format |
|
Each team MUST expect one game Friday and two games Saturday. Semi-final (if necessary) and championship games will be played on Sunday. Friday start times will vary depending on the number of teams entered in the event overall – we will do our best to accommodate travel times. |
|
All Players must be 18 years of age or older by the start date of the tournament. Age exceptions may be made for goaltenders only in extenuating circumstances. |
|
Schedules will be posted at www.TheChiller.com/CBJLaborDay, and will be e-mailed to the team contacts no later than one week prior to the event. |

Chiller North features 2 NHL Rinks, and enclosed Mezzanine, the unique Skating Treadmill and Rapid Shot Machines. |
|
Chiller North is close to many dining, shopping and entertainment destinations. |
|
Welcome bag at check-in for all participants. (Water Bottle, Raffle Tickets & other possible gifts). The team’s captain will also receive a limited amount of stick tape for the team to use during the weekend. |
|
BBQ and other fun outdoor activities outside of the arena. |
|
Saturday Night Social @ Champps including appetizers, beer specials and a raffle!

Prior to the championship games the Chillers will host a complimentary open ice time and “Skills Challenge” on both sheets of ice. Family and friends may enjoy free skating and stick n’ puck time with skates, sticks, pucks provided by the Chillers and the Columbus Blue Jackets! |

First place prizes will be awarded to each division championship team. | | |
