Ohio Sled Hockey
Ohio Sled Hockey is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization that teaches boys and girls with physical disabilities of all ages to play sled hockey. OSH presents the program through the OhioHealth Chillers' Learn to Play Hockey classes and teaches the fundamentals of skating and the sport. Recreational scrimmages are an integral part of class and practice. Current program hours can always be found on our website.
Equipment is provided by OSH.
All of our athletes are encouraged and welcome to take part in competitive league play if interested. The Ohio Blades are a junior competitive program that travels regionally to Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Buffalo to play similar junior programs. In addition, they host an annual Columbus Tournament sponsored by the SPIDA Software in January.
Experienced Skaters and Hockey Volunteers are needed on a committed basis for assist at practice.
Please see our website - ohiosledhockey.org - for information on playing, volunteering and donating.
